Registration Guidelines for Participants

Confirmed registration is required to participate in the 12th International Conference on High Temperature Capillarity (HTC 2026) in Forsbach, Cologne area, Germany.

BESL Eventagentur GmbH & Co. KG is our external partner for the participant registration and is also responsible for the invoicing and collection of participation fees. Please check the full information, fees and deadlines on this website.

We kindly ask you to provide the requested information in the required fields in the registration process. Upon the completion of the registration process, an electronic confirmation of the registration will be generated by the system and automatically sent to the e-mail address provided by the user. Please check your spam folder.

DATES

Registration is possible only via the registration facility on this website.

Registration will open on 12 February 2026.

Registration will close on 17 April 2026.

After 17 April 2026, registration is no longer possible. If there is a special case of exception, please send your e-mail request to the organization office VMSSupport@dlr.de  

 
Terms and Conditions for Participants

By registering for the 12th International Conference on High Temperature Capillarity (HTC 2026) you agree to the participation terms and conditions.
If you are registering on behalf of another individual, it is your responsibility to ensure the participating person is aware of these terms and accepts them. By completing the registration on behalf of other individuals you are warranting that you have made the participants aware of these terms and that they have accepted these terms.

Registration Fees for Participants

All participants and delegates must register for the HTC 2026 Conference in full according to the categories and rates outlined below.

Participants and delegates can register for the conference only via the registration facility on this website.

Please note:
For all scientific events with a social programme, the German Aerospace Center is obliged to split the participation fees for the event into a VAT-exempt and a VAT-liable portion in the invoice for the conference fee, since both VAT-exempt and VAT-liable services were provided for the participation fees.

Therefore, the breakdown of the amount is for tax reasons only. Each participant of the HTC 2026 Conference can book only the complete programme of HTC 2026.

As organiser and host of the HTC 2026 conference we must include this information on the participation fee invoices in accordance with the German tax regulations. Every participant of this conference pays the total amount shown on the invoice (no VAT for participants).

The participation fee for all participants and students includes:

• Admission to the whole scientific programme of the conference (3–7.5.2026)
• Coffee breaks and lunch (3–7.05.2026)
• Participation in the social programme on Wednesday, 6.5.2026 (one-hour boat trip, guided city tour and dinner)
• Optional Tour to the DLR/ESA premises on 8.5.2026

The participation fee for accompanying persons (adult and child) includes:

• Daily catering - food & beverage all conference days (3–7.5.2026)
• Participation in the Networking Event with Cologne City Tours and Dinner on Wednesday, 6.5.2026
• Optional Tour to the DLR/ESA premises on 8.5.2026

Please contact VMSSupport@dlr.de, if you would like to register an accompanying person. Therefore, we will send you an invitation code.

The conference fee does not generally include:

• Hotel accommodation which should be booked separately.
• Welcome Reception on Sunday, 3.5.2026.
• Optional evening buffets in the GenoHotel on Monday, 4.5.2026, Tuesday, 5.5.2026 and on Thursday, 7.5.2026.

It will be a perfect networking opportunity for participants and students.

Please note that these are ticketed events. You must register and pay in addition, if you plan to participate in these events. Once your booking is completed, you will automatically receive a corresponding invoice for each option from the system.

If you feel unsure about your optional bookings at the time of registration, you may adjust or cancel your booking afterwards by contacting the organizing team via email: vmssupport@dlr.de 

The booking changes are possible up to four weeks before the event (until 3.4.2026).
